Wesley Huffman is a PhD student who started in the fall of 2017. Prior to his graduate studies, he completed an undergraduate degree in Marine Sciences at the University of Connecticut. Wes is currently working on various projects related to the bioaccumulation of mercury and methylmercury in the lower food web, with a focus on zooplankton, and particularly the biuoaccumulation of methylmercury in marine copepods. He is working on projects in Long Island Sound, in the Hackensack River, and on a project off the coast of Alaska.
